Ina and Jason....congratulations!!!!

On Saturday, it was our privilege to attend the wedding of one of KC's co-pilots, Jason. He met and fell in love with a lovely young german national who we have come to adore, Ina (EE-NA).

So, on Saturday we were up to go to the wedding ceremony in a local village not far from our own.

I, as the whole world knows, am a first class SAP!!! I love wedding, in any venue in any part of the world. Another buddy of KC's was nice enough to snap this shot of us in Sachsen where the wedding took place.

Ina looked lovely in this dress! I thought it one of the best choices for a simple countryside wedding. Abby was just fascinated and kept calling her the "princess" all afternoon. Which as you can imagine made Ina smile! Since Abby knows that she, too, is a princess, she felt obligated to chit chat the day away with her fellow royal companion.
Princess Ina!

KC was happy because 1.) the kids were behaving and 2.) they served really good German beer!!!
There was the ooohing and aawwing of the rings.....

and the romantic first dance! But most of all we loved ......
....the wonderful food!

Ina choose the have her reception in the upstairs room of Rosanno's! A beautiful italian restaurant. And man, do they serve some wonderful salad, venison, ravioli, appetizer plate and ice cream!!!!

We toasted to the bride and groom and had a great time. The afternoon moved on and we signed the guest book, played with all the little kids, enjoyed several toasts, the best man was extremely funny, and took in the moment!

Then, it was time for the cake!

Trust me when I say it was as good as it looks! And it wasn't too sweet! Whoever made this has a gift.....period!
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Jason Todd! Many happy years to come!
