My awesome Navy veteran and oldest big brother was busy in September by readying himself to be the coordinator for the local Toys for Tots charity in Idaho Falls. He was in Virginia for some training and was very nice to come over on his way home and spend a week with us out here in the sticks of northern New York! Didn't get too many shots but I love this one where the kids are eagerly hugging him after I pick the boys up from school on Friday! We enjoyed going to some amish houses, looking at local autumn scenery, visiting pumpkin patches and spending an awesome evening at Red Lobster! Gotta love visits like this!
Have to put a plug in for Toys for Tots! Its a wonderful program that matches donated toys for children of families in need at Christmas so that every child should get a present on Christmas day. If you want to give to Toys for Tots, all donations are local and stay in the area to benefit local children. This is a great program for families and the need just grows greater each year! I have linked the Idaho Falls area to this site, but if you want to give to your own region, just go to the homepage!
