We spent a whole day touring South Dakota. We stopped at the Corn Palace...google it, its a great iconic american building. Then we stopped at the famous Wall Drug. We went through a corner of the Badlands National Park, saw a rattle snake (sorry no pics) and a big horn sheep. Then we stopped at Mt. Rushmore. KC gets to check that off his list of "things to see". As we left, a killer hail/rain storm poured down on us and those black hills, well, they turn BLACK when it rains. As we drove away Thomas looked back and said "Mom, it looks like the presidents are crying!" And indeed it did. As it was horrible weather, we spent the night at a hotel in Wyoming. But what an awesome day!
