After what seemed like an eternity of waiting...and even before that, just knowing if he was coming back with this group, KC finally came home to us! We were at the hangar waiting for them to arrive! When they let the soldiers in, they said a quick prayer and at last released them; the roof came off the place in celebration!
Had to give the hubby a welcome home kiss! Abby eagerly awaits her turn to hug daddy!
She did great too! It was like he had never left! She was daddy's girl when he left and clung to him upon his return home. I don't think I will be so lucky next time around!!!
Thomas stole a hat and was telling daddy how much he was missed!
Ben, when told to smile, poses a "Mr. MacGoo" face, but was very excited to see dad!
All is well in our little corner of the world and he made it home just in time for our 9th wedding anniversary on the 10th!!!
We felt the posters at the hangers weren't enough so we did our own ones at home so KC could see how much he was missed!
