He's back!

Well, we went to church this morning and picked up KC at 11:30! It seemed like it took forever! But we found the hubby and Thomas ran up to him with a big smile on his face! Ben hugged him and said very calmly "hi Dad!" And then later we met up with some people and went to eat at a pizza place. They were all from KC's SERE class. Though KC isn't supposed to talk about it, I gathered enough info from KC's haggard appearance and his lack of brain function, that it couldn't be a very fun time, but kind of a rite of passage. These boys (there were girls in the class but none of them on KC's particular team) all went through some trauma and they went through it together so it makes them closer in a way. So tonight we just stayed in and vegged out with some kid movies, a couple of games of Don't Break the Ice and a couple of Mario Brothers Games on the Super Nintendo. He is supposed to be on a light duty schedule for the next few days with is just fine with me! Hopefully after tomorrow we will have a definite graduation date!
