What a May! Part 2

KC, Brandi and mom enjoying the Florida weather!
Finally, Ben warms up to Grandma Chase!
Eating Crab! Nummy!
My mother and sister in law got here safe and sound and I was so glad they got to come down to visit. It was originally supposed to be KC's graduation date, but never count on anything the Army tells you til AFTER its all said and done. But it was nice because not only was KC able to be here, he was able to take leave and were all able to go to Florida and enjoy the beach. (I think we were under threat of severe punishment from my sister in law if that didn't happen). But they arrived safe and sound Tuesday night. While here KC was able to give them a tour of the post and show them the house they all lived in when KC's father was going through flight school.
We started out Thursday with a quick trip to Panama City to eat a crab house (which was so nummy) and then we ventured on to Pensacola and enjoyed the water on the naval station there. And much to our own delight, we got to have a private air show while on the beach on Friday morning as the Blue Angels were practicing manuvers right over the water! It was awesome, very loud, but worth the noise. And no one came home sunburned (except KC).
KC and Brandi were able to go snorkeling and Thomas caught so many hermit crabs it kept him busy the entire time. Ben still didn't like the water, but at the very end went into it all by himself with his feet and didn't scream. So I hope he is coming around to the ocean. Grandma Chase had lots of fun just visiting and playing with the boys! It was sure a great and memorable visit!
